Yang Shen

Yang Shen (楊慎; 1488–1559), son of Yang Tinghe, zi Yòngxiū (用修), hao Shēng'ān (升庵), also hao Bonanshanren (博南山人), Bonanshushi (博南戍史), was a poet in the Ming Dynasty. He lived in Chengdu in the Sichuan province of China.

As a result of the Great rites controversy of 1524, he was exiled to Yunnan.[1][2]
