The Whip are a band from Salford, Greater Manchester, UK formed in 2006. The band’s debut album, X Marks Destination, produced by Jim Abbiss, was released on Southern Fried Records on March 24, 2008. They have released several singles on record labels such as Kitsuné. Their tracks "Trash" and "Divebomb" were featured on the Kitsune Maison Compilations 3 and 4 respectively[1][2]. They have also been commissioned to do remixes for bands such as Editors, Hadouken! and The Courteeners track "Fallowfield Hillbilly".

Trash appeared on ITV's Fa Cup "All men are equal" adverts.

Trash was also used as the backing track for Channel 4's series RudeTube during the opening scenes.

Blackout was featured in EA Sports NBA Live 2009 and throughout the first season of the Dave programme "Batteries Not Included".

Muzzle #1 was used in the video game EA Sports FIFA 09.[3]

Fire (X Marks Destination) was featured in EA Sports NFS Undercover soundtrack.
