[edit] Background

The Dream Team actually started out in 1988 as the Swedish PC demo group known as Kaos. K.A.O.S. released many demos which were spread on floppy discs during the late 80's.

When the BBS scene started, Hard Core met Line Noise and Cool Hand during a AT&T phone conference. They both were intereted in his programming knowledge and asked Hard Core to start to create intros for their cracks. Hard Core prodouced only a few crack intros before he was asked by another swedish legend, Strider of Fairlight to start a pc section of Fairlight. Hard Core left iNC and started to code demos for fairlight. There are two known to this date.

After a few month, Hard Core decided to run on his own and started The Dream Team. Soon, he met a german legend, Irata from TRSi. In late 1989, Hard Core of TDT joined forces with Irata [1] of TRSI to found TDT/TRSI (COOP). TDT was the first PC group to package quality intros/cracktros with its releases. These intros/cracktros coded by the famed member of the group, cracker/coder Hard Core inspired much enthusiasm towards the early PC intro/demoscene. Hard Core also ran a BBS named Hard City. Hard City was the heart and sole of TDT during its first years and many of the groups releases were put there first. The board was during a time very busy and due lack of time, the head quarters was moved to NY. A good friend, Touch Tone, was running a BBS with 8 nodes, called The Motherboard. TDT headquarters moved there and it increased the speed of spreading their warez.

In 1992, TDT teamed up with amiga legends Skid Row, and BBS named Unlawful Entry. It was there were Hard Core met The Grim Reaper, former member of THG who was accused for spying for the feds and busted during the famouse Humble Babe bust.

The Grim Reaper and the owner of Unlawful Entry had a big fight which resulted of termination of the The Dream Team us HQ. The Grim Reaper took over the US part of TDT and it soon fell apart.

Hard Core left TDT 1994 and wanted the group to dissolve during its greatest years to be remembered when it was on top. He never returned to the "scene"
