The Detours are a five-piece rock/metal band from Glasgow, Scotland. The band have performed a UK tour to promote their new single "bull rider", which was out 22 August on iTunes and all other digital stores. The Detours were selected to be involved in the TV show Orange Unsigned Act alongside other Glasgow acts such as Fangs and Hip Parade.

The Detours have announced that they will be touring the UK again in April 2009.
