Standard Life Healthcare - is a part of the Standard Life Group[1]. The Standard Life Group acquired Prime Health Limited in 1994 and in 2000 renamed the company Standard Life Healthcare. Standard Life Healthcare expanded in March 2006 with the acquisition of the PMI business of FirstAssist. As part of this process they relocated their head office from Guildford, Surrey to Bournemouth. This was achieved in part by making nearly all the original members of staff redundant over a two-year period. CEO Mike Hall soon learned the error of his ways and bolted, leaving the less-experienced management to stumble on like lost sheep.
