SkyDome Arena: Ice Rink

The SkyDome Arena is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Coventry, England. It was built in 1999. It is home to the Cassidy Coventry Blaze Ice hockey team. It was built as part of the SkyDome multiplex, along with the Odeon Cinema, Chicago Rock Cafe, Ignite, Lava, Jumpin Jaks, Old Orleans and Mortimers The Skydome complex now also houses a bar called Crosby's located at the end of the Ice rink. It is used for public ice skating sessions, ice skating lessons, ice hockey, concerts and various other events.

It has also been the site of two of the largest^{[citation needed]} independent wrestling shows in UK history. International Showdown was held in March 2005, which featured stars such as Raven, CM Punk, Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles. The other was Universal Uproar, held on 11 November 2005, featured stars such as Mick Foley, Alex Shane and The Sandman.^{[citation needed]} Since then, it has hosted a number of wrestling events including Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's first UK Tour. and Pro-Wrestling NOAH's European Navigation in 2008.
