Shitai County

Shitai County (simplified Chinese: 石台县; pinyin: Shítái Xiàn) is a county in Anhui under the jurisdiction of Chizhou. Its population is 110,000 and its area is 1,403 square kilometers. The government of Shitai County is located at Qili Town. Shitai County is a producer of silk and tea leaves.
Shitai County has jurisdiction over 5 towns and 10 townships.
The famous "Guniujiang" National Nature Reserve is located at the border between Shitai county and Qimen county. It is said that the "Guniujiang" has the last piece of original forest in East China.
