Paolo De Ceglie (born September 17, 1986 in Aosta) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A club Juventus.

[edit] Club career
De Ceglie played in various youth competitions for Juve, including the Campionato Primavera and Coppa Italia Primavera. In 2006, De Ceglie scored a hat-trick in Juventus' 5-1 defeat of bitter rivals Inter Milan for the Super Coppa Primavera.
De Ceglie made his senior team debut on November 6, 2006 for Juventus against Napoli, coming on as a substitute for Nicola Legrottaglie after 55 minutes, with the game eventually ending 1-1. His first ever senior team goal came in his second game, as Juventus beat Lecce 4-1. He played a total of seven matches with Juventus in their 2006-07 Serie B campaign, and also scored a goal. In June 2007 he was loaned out to Siena as part of a co-ownership agreement.
De Ceglie was sold back to Juventus on June 9,2008 after his first season in Serie A with Siena. Juve paid €3.5m for the other half of his contract, which will be paid in instalments during the 2008/09 season.

He made his Italy U-21 team debut against Luxembourg U-21, 12 December 2006, replacing Arturo Lupoli in 62 min. Since making his U-21 debut, De Ceglie has been a regular in the Azzurrini squad, usually at left-back.
De Ceglie was one of the stars during Italy's triumph at the Toulon Tournament in France, as well as the 2008 Summer Olympics so far. He featured in the 2009 Euro U-21 Championship held in Sweden.
