Noriyuki Abe (阿部 記之 (formerly 阿部 紀之) Abe Noriyuki, July 19, 1961 - birthplace:Kyoto) is a Japanese anime director, storyboard artist and sound director. He is best known for working with Studio Pierrot on every major hit such as Flame of Recca, Bleach, and Yu Yu Hakusho. The latter won the Animage Anime Grand Prix award in 1993 and 1994.
