Nana Akwasi Asare (born 11 July 1986 in Kumasi) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Utrecht in the Netherlands.

He previously played for Kumasi Cornerstones, Feyenoord Ghana, Feyenoord and Royal Antwerp.[1] On 16 May 2009 was announced Asare will leave after completion of the 2008/2009 season Y.R. K.V. Mechelen, the 22-year-old Ghanaian national player signed for FC Utrecht, a four-year contract until June 2013.[2]
