The Grigore T. Popa University is a university-level medical school in Iaşi, Romania, specializing in medicine and pharmacy. It was named in honor of the scientist Grigore T. Popa.
[edit] Structure
The University is a complex higher education institution, comprising six faculties (Medicine, PharmacyDentistry, Kinesiology and Physical Therapy, Biomedical Engineering, Midwifery). In addition, it is home two eight colleges (General Nursing, Dental Technique, Dental Nursing, Audiology, Balneotherapy and Rehabilitation, Medical Cosmetics, Hygiene and Public Health, Pharmaceutical Technique).
The faculties offer six-year-courses, and colleges hold three-year-courses. Students are required to pass a license examination upon completion of their studies.
