Chilevisión or CHV is the third oldest television channel in Chile. Formerly called Teleonce (Universidad de Chile Televisión) and RTU (Red de Televisión de la Universidad de Chile), this TV station was owned by University of Chile, a Chilean state university. This educational institution sold a significant percentage of its TV channel to Venevisión, changing its name to Chilevisión. It was later sold to Claxson Multimedia Group and then to Chilean investor and presidential hopeful Sebastián Piñera.

The channel mainly airs celebrity gossip shows, news, Argentina / Brazilian telenovelas, and anime. It currently ranks 4th in TV viewership in the country behind Canal 13, TVN and Mega (in that order).

Chilevisión reaches Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, continental Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay through the Brazilian satellite Estrela do Sul.

Currently the most important programs of the TV station are SQP, a celebrity gossip program, El Diario De Eva, a teenage oriented talk show and variety program, Yingo a contest show for teenagers, Chilevision Noticias, the news program, REC, a miscellaneous show and Primer Plano, another celebrity gossip program with a more serious tone. The station also broadcasts the WWE programs Monday Night RAW and WWE Friday Night SmackDown
