The discography of Bloc Party, a British band, consists of three studio albums, seventeen singles, three extended plays (EP) and two remix albums. Bloc Party were formed in 1998 by chief songwriter Kele Okereke (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Russell Lissack (lead guitar). Bassist Gordon Moakes and drummer Matt Tong joined the band later. This list does not include material released before they signed a recording contract when they were called "The Angel Range" and then "Union", or material recorded by Lissack's side-project Pin Me Down.

Bloc Party's first release was the Bloc Party EP in 2004. Their first single, "She's Hearing Voices", was released from this,[1] but failed to chart in the United Kingdom. Their next release, Little Thoughts, was released only in Japan the same year.[2] This spawned their first UK Top 40 entry, the double A-side "Little Thoughts/Tulips", which peaked at number 38.[3] Their first studio album, Silent Alarm, was released in 2005. It was their UK breakthrough, reaching number 3 in the UK Albums Chart,[3] and was voted NME Album of the Year.[4] The album also generated a hit single, "So Here We Are/Positive Tension", which peaked at number 5 in the UK Top 40.[3]

After two years, during which their songs appeared on several compilations, Bloc Party released A Weekend in the City in February 2007. The album went into the UK Albums Chart at number 2,[3] and debuted in the U.S. at number 12.[5] The first single from this album, "The Prayer", was their highest charting in the UK, peaking at number four.[3] In 2008, they released a third album, Intimacy, which reached a peak of number eight in the UK,[3] number 18 in the United States,[6] and charted in many European countries. The highest charting single from this album was "Mercury", which peaked at number 16 in the UK Top 40.[3]
