Ashworth (NASDAQ: ASHW) is a golf-apparel company, maker of Ashworth, The Game, Kudzu and Callaway Golf Apparel. On October 14, 2008, Ashworth was acquired by TaylorMade-adidas.

On October 14, 2008, adidas, through its subsidiary TaylorMade-adidas Golf, acquired Ashworth for $1.90 a share. The purchase was for $72.8 million, which includes $46.3 million in debt from Ashworth that adidas will assume.[1]
