  • Amaravathi, Surname among the 'Kshatriya/Rajus' caste in Andhra Pradesh. They belong to the 'Atreya' Gotra. See Raju_surnames for more details.
  • Amaravati River, flows from Kerala into Tamil Nadu, where it joins the river Kaveri
  • Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, a small town in Guntur District, on the banks of river Krishna in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This was a seat of a great Budhist Monastery in earlier times.
  • Amravati, the name given to a district and its headquarters in the state of Maharashtra (India)
