The 15th Congress of the RCP(b) was held during 2-19 December 1927 in Moscow.

In October 1927, the last Opposition members were expelled from the Communist Party Central Committee, and in November 1927 Trotsky and Zinoviev were expelled from the Party itself and in a triumphant Congress, Stalin's power is consolidated, with the Trotskyists and all other leading oppositionists are expelled from the Party.
